This Nappanee homeowner was dealing with an old, outdated tub with a failing surround. The bathtub had constant discoloration, mold, and mildew buildup, making it difficult and dangerous for them to get in and out without risk of a fall. The family was looking for a long-term solution that would provide safety, ease of use, and low maintenance.
After
We replaced the old tub with a new, custom acrylic walk-in shower system, complete with modern fixtures, accessories, and custom sliding glass doors. During the demolition process, we encountered a cement block wall that required a custom wall installation for the shower’s niche shelf unit. Additionally, we discovered the drain system was incorrectly positioned, so we custom-designed a new drain to fit the new layout.
The homeowners specifically wanted a shower that was safe, easy to use, and low-maintenance. To meet these needs, we installed a premium acrylic shower system with a nonporous surface that resists mold, mildew, and staining — ensuring both durability and ease of cleaning.
